Garden Reopening at Dunmore Country School

We Are Back In The Garden on Monday June 7th.

We are delighted to announce that we are back in the garden, at Dunmore Country School, from Monday June 7th, for all our upcoming gardening courses, and Warre Hive Beekeeping Courses. 

After months of lockdown, during which we ran all our courses online, we really are thrilled to be able to invite all participants back into our garden for face to face classes.

We wish to sincerely thank everyone who partook in our online Zoom classes, as it really was wonderful to be able to continue at Dunmore Country School, during such difficult times, and we hope the experience was as rewarding for you all, as it was for us.

With our garden now reopening, we are running a number of courses, which are outlined below, and to book a place on any course, just follow the relevant link, and we look forward to meeting you all, in person, at Dunmore Country School.

Natural Beekeeping Course with the Warré Hive

Monday 7th June from 10am to 3pm

Warré Hive Natural Beekeeping Course with Tanguy de Toulgoet.
The Warré hive is the perfect tool, for keeping the native Irish honey bee, without too much intervention, no treatment and no sugar feeding. During this beekeeping course you will learn the basis of natural beekeeping. It will take place in our working kitchen garden, at Dunmore Country School, in Durrow County Laois.

Summer Gardening Course 

Sat 12 June from 2 to 5pm

The summer gardening course is a great way for you to gain gardening knowledge. With seasonal gardening tips and advice, you will follow the process and evolution of a kitchen garden during the class. it will take place in our working kitchen garden, ensuring lots of practical gardening learning, at Dunmore Country School in Durrow, County Laois.
